Frequently asked questions
Straight answers before a fit review.
Scope, data, delivery, pricing, and control questions about inventory exception monitoring.
Does AI place purchase orders?+
No. StockSightline is a read-only exception review; planners retain purchasing authority.
Do we need to replace our ERP?+
No. We start with one stable, standardized export.
Can it forecast new products?+
Sparse-history and new-item cases are explicitly flagged for human judgment rather than given false precision.
How do you check accuracy?+
We backtest whether the selected rules would have surfaced useful decisions and record every false positive.
What do we receive each cycle?+
A human-reviewed inventory exception workbook, the supporting exception log, and the plan-specific review cadence shown on the pricing page.
What do you need from us?+
A named owner, the agreed definitions, and a stable, buyer-normalized inventory export. The public inquiry form accepts none of that operational data.
How quickly can we start?+
A normal start has four checkpoints: fit and boundary, field mapping, a dry run, and acceptance. Timing depends on how quickly the buyer can confirm definitions and provide the safe input.
How is the product delivered?+
StockSightline uses a six-module inventory operations model. The published plans are delivered as a managed service with human-reviewed, portable outputs; customer logins, live connectors, and system-of-record changes are not included.
Is the workspace on this site a customer account?+
No. It is an interactive product tour built with fictional people, records, activity, and metrics. It demonstrates the complete operating model without claiming a live customer deployment.
Which plan should we choose?+
Operations is our recommended starting point for teams that need the service throughout the month. Choose the lower plan for a focused queue or the upper plan for the published higher workload.
What counts toward plan capacity?+
Capacity uses the accepted records, workflows, entities, locations, or reporting units named on the pricing page. Rows rejected at the agreed schema check are returned for correction before processing and do not silently consume the allowance.
Can we change or cancel a plan?+
Yes. Plans run month to month. A capacity change is agreed before the next cycle, and cancellation takes effect before the next monthly renewal.
What happens above the plan capacity?+
We pause and agree whether to defer the excess, change plans, or reduce scope. We do not silently process extra work or add an unapproved fee.
Do you guarantee a business result?+
No. We guarantee the written scope and acceptance checks, not savings, compliance, approval, payment, forecasting accuracy, or another outcome controlled by data quality and human decisions.
